Custom Made Orthotics

 
Our orthotics are something different because they are something different. The orthotics are shoe inserts that support all three arches in your feet thereby creating a stable foundation upon which to build proper body posture. Proper body posture helps you maintain optimal function and aids your chiropractic treatment program.  We find patients hold their adjustments better and respond to chiropractic care quicker when the have proper body posture and normal body mechanics.  We utilize two different companies because it gives greater flexibility to get the best orthotic for you.  Foot Levelors are an excellent choice for most situations but for specific activities or when we need the orthotic built into the shoe itself we use the Orthotic Group. 

Custom-made orthotics are individualized to stabilize your spine and pelvis by correcting imbalances in your feet— the foundation of your skeletal system. These imbalances may occur even if you’re not experiencing foot pain. Though they may go unnoticed, these imbalances contribute to postural misalignments, pain in areas throughout your body and fatigue.

All of our custom orthotics are designed using an impression. First, you step onto a mold which captures an exact impression of your feet while you are standing, with your full weight on your feet and then the mold is sent to the laboratory where the orthotics are created to correct any imbalances found in the three arches of your feet. Your new orthotics will be sent to our office and we will show you how to wear and care for them.
